Last Friday night, Chef Anthony Pino of Anthony David’s delivered steak dinners to the families of two-dozen Hoboken American Legion Post 107 veterans.
“It was a big hit,” said Post 107 Commander John Carey. “Included with the great meal was a wonderful brownie and a buttered roll.”
Pino has been a fixture on the Hoboken restaurant scene for the past two decades, watching the town evolve into a dynamic and desirable high-end real estate market. But those who have been here for long enough know that Hoboken was a community before it was a hotspot. Even as his restaurant sits quiet on the corner of 10th & Bloomfield, he and his staff are still working hard in the kitchen to give back to that community in any way they can.
