A real estate development firm with roots in Hudson County is offering free Christmas trees to Hudson County police officers, firefighters, EMTs and other first responders, as well as frontline medical workers and teachers.
DT Allen Contracting, partnering with the township of North Bergen and Freeholder Chairman Anthony Vainieri, will distribute the trees as a thank you to the essential workers in Hudson County for their efforts in a tumultuous year.
Trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Bruins Stadium Soccer Field parking lot Saturday, Nov. 28 starting at 10 a.m. Identification must be shown to receive a tree. Masks will be required and social distancing protocols will be followed.
