Representatives from a variety of community organizations answered the call for school supplies, to help students from the Hoboken Housing Authority keep pace during this challenging time of distance learning.
“Many folks are not aware of the great economic divide that exists in Hoboken,” said Louis Quinones of Community Lifestyle, a non-profit organization providing programs and services to youth and teens. “We believe it’s our responsibility to care for all of our residents, as Hoboken is an amazing community.”
Recognizing the immediate need for school supplies in the Hoboken Housing Authority, Quinones appealed to a a local resource legendary for its effectiveness, the Hoboken Mommies Facebook group.
